    Consultation

A Taliare bespoke garment is something very special. During your consultation, Erlend will get to know you and your lifestyle, and your characteristics will be reflected in every aspect of the cut, fabric, lining and styling. Erlend will guide you through the process, helping you choose what suits your needs exactly.

    Measuring and patterns

Erlend will take your measurements, and study elements of your body shape and posture. From this, he designs and creates a pattern exclusively for you, designed to fit, flatter and give extraordinary comfort.

    Select your fabric

Your choice of cloth will be decided by your needs. Something formal? For fun or sport? For country pursuits or for the city? Our fabrics come from the very best European mills, in many weights, weaves and colours, and Erlend will help you select the perfect cloth. When you have chosen, there is a handshake and the cloth is spoken for – hence the term ‘bespoke’.

    Cut and customise

Your individual pattern is cut by hand and the cloth basted (loosely sewn) together. At the second fitting, as in the great Savile Row tailoring houses, the suit is sculpted on the body to refine the fit, then recut and sewn by hand. For the final details, there’s a wide range of buttons – real horn, covered or metal – and a choice of the finest lining materials in a variety of colours and patterns.

    Finishing and fitting

A third fitting – or more if desired – and final tweaks ensure absolute perfection. Your garment is now stitched and finished by hand, with silk-thread button holes and hand-sewn seams and lapels, and carefully pressed. Our jackets are made with a full floating canvas and a hand-padded chest piece to ensure that the garment is held in perfect shape for its lifetime. You will feel amazing in a suit made exactly for you.
